As a leading Portuguese stoneware manufacturer, we proudly oversee a portfolio of three exceptional factories, nurturing two distinguished brands: COSTA NOVA and Casafina by COSTA NOVA.

At COSTA NOVA Industria Group, every stoneware piece begins with a moment of inspiration and a rigorous design process. Our talented designers consider every detail, from form and ergonomics to aesthetics and the product life cycle. We use locally sourced raw materials and, in selected products, incorporate recycled materials.

Every one of our products passes through many hands throughout the manufacturing process. While our factories are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, craftsmanship remains at the heart of our production.

Throughout the process, from forming and moulding to decoration and glazing, craftsmanship, precision and care are essential.

The firing process plays a defining role. Our stoneware is fired only once, before acquiring the characteristics that define the finished piece, using less energy than other ceramic processes involving two firings.

As the clay is shaped and refined, it undergoes a gradual transformation, evolving from a simple, malleable material into a functional piece ready for everyday use.
