Main responsibilities

• Ensure the recording, classification, and posting of accounting documents in accordance with current regulations;

• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow movements;

• Assist in the monthly and annual closing of accounts;

• Ensure compliance with tax and social security obligations (VAT, personal income tax, corporate income tax, annual reporting, among others);

• Collaborate with internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field;

• Certified Accountant (OCC);

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in similar roles (experience in the industrial sector is a plus);

• Experience in preparing project payment requests;

• Solid knowledge of the Portuguese Accounting Standards (SNC), taxation, and accounting procedures;

• Proficient in IT tools, particularly Excel and accounting software (PHC);

• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and organizational skills;

• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines;

• Proactive, critical thinker, and detail-oriented.
