As part of Creativity Day, celebrated on April 21st, employees of COSTA NOVA Industria were invited to take part in the “Creative Ceramics” competition, challenging them to design functional or decorative pieces inspired by their roots, with an original and sustainable approach.

First prize was awarded to Marina Wischert for her project “Bairrada Select”, a dual-piece set consisting of a wine cooler designed to hold Bairrada sparkling wine and a serving platter for appetizers. Second place went to Mariana Henriques, also with a set titled “Sushi à Portuguesa”, which included a fish-shaped chopstick holder and a Shoyuzara (soy sauce dish) shaped like a traditional Moliceiro boat. Third prize was awarded to Ana Patrícia Dias for “Corpete Maré,” a stoneware garment piece inspired by the landscape of Figueira da Foz.
