Ecogres – Cerâmica Ecológica, part of COSTA NOVA Industria, was awarded an honorable mention on December 5th at the 1st edition of the European Funds Awards for its ECOGRES 4.0 project, recognized for its contribution to a more sustainable ceramics industry.

Co-financed by Compete 2020, the project has been a reference in the practical application of the circular economy. With ceramic made of over 95% industrial waste and by-products, the recovery of wastewater, and investments in photovoltaic panels and hydrogen-ready kilns, Ecogres stands as an example of an environmentally responsible and technologically advanced industry.
