Grestel, through its COSTA NOVA brand, was commissioned by Sport Clube Beira-Mar to create the commemorative medal for the centenary of this historic club from Aveiro.
The result is innovative – departing from the traditional metal design, the medal is made of ceramic (honoring Aveiro’s ceramic heritage), gilded with gold, and dressed in yellow and black.
The commemorative piece was launched on December 9 during S.C. Beira-Mar’s Christmas dinner. The medal is now available for purchase by fans at the Municipal Stadium of Aveiro on match days, for both members and non-members. COSTA NOVA and Grestel have been official sponsors of the club for several years.
“Developing a medal to celebrate Beira-Mar’s centenary with our stoneware was a very rewarding challenge for us, and we are extremely pleased with the final result,” said Miguel Casal, CEO of Grestel.
