Grestel produces masks and face shields for its employees

With the return to work on April 20th, Grestel provided all its employees with personal protective equipment, including masks and face shields produced in-house.

The shortage of access to such essential materials – vital for those who need them daily during the pandemic, such as healthcare and public safety professionals – prompted the company to adopt innovative measures to ensure the proper protection of its employees upon returning to work. This included producing face shields using 3D printing technology available in its facilities.

Through its Design Department, Grestel produced approximately 100 3D-printed face shields and an additional 375 cap-style shields in just one week, all of which were very well received by staff.

Additionally, some employees voluntarily made paper masks, which were distributed to colleagues for use outside the workplace as an extra protective measure.
