The visit took place on the morning of January 17, on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of AIDA CCI (Aveiro District Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The day included a business tour of the municipalities of Ílhavo and Vagos, with Secretary of State for Internationalization, Bernardo Ivo Cruz, as the guest of honor.

The first company visited was Ecogres – Cerâmica Ecológica, the new company of the COSTA NOVA Industria Group, which is now in the final stages of preparation for its launch and is expected to create over 150 jobs in the region.

Highlighting the facility’s strong environmental sustainability, technologically advanced, and energy-efficient industrial setup, Bernardo Ivo Cruz remarked, “This is a factory that is ahead of the others.”
