The ECOGRES 4.0 project is a finalist for the 2024 European REGIOSTARS award

Since its inception in 2008, the REGIOSTARS has become the mark of excellence for EU-funded projects that demonstrate impactful and inclusive regional development. This year, the REGIOSTARS jury reviewed a record number of applications – 262 in total – and selected only 25 finalists. ECOGRES 4.0 is proud to be the only Portuguese finalist in the category “A Green Europe – The Green Transition as an Enabler of Regional Development.”

Carlos Pinto, Factory Director of the COSTA NOVA group, notes that this nomination signifies “recognition by the experts and technicians of the European Community of the added value of the innovation project that led to the creation of the Ecogres factory – Ecological Ceramics – being considered pioneering and an example in the field of sustainability.”

The winners will be chosen in the second evaluation phase, which includes live presentations and interviews with the jury. Additionally, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite finalist for the Public Choice Award, with voting starting on September 2nd. We count on your support!
