The aroma of grilled sardines filled the air while music echoed across Grestel’s loading dock on the evening of July 11, as the COSTA NOVA Industria Group celebrated the 5th edition of its now traditional “Arraial”.

In a truly festive and welcoming atmosphere, employees from the group’s companies came together for an evening of connection and fun before the start of the summer holiday season.

Many were the reasons to stay, catch up with colleagues and create new memories. While sardines, “bifanas” and “caldo verde” were served throughout the evening, Banda Vírus and DJ Sazão kept the dance floor full of energy. Traditional games and a charity raffle, with proceeds benefiting the Centro de Apoio Social e Desenvolvimento de Santa Catarina, a local social welfare organization, provided even more opportunities for everyone to enjoy the celebration.

Above all, the “Arraial” is an opportunity to strengthen relationships between colleagues from different teams, creating an informal setting where employees can connect outside their everyday work environment and reinforce a sense of belonging.

As the Group’s CEO highlighted during the event, “We are many people, from many different nationalities and cultures, and we all need one another.” A message that perfectly reflected the spirit of the evening: celebrating unity and the collaborative effort that enables the Group to overcome challenges and continue growing throughout the year.
